In response to our enquiries regarding the councils audit of Blackwood Septic Systems, The Blackwood Times received this comment by email today from Moorabool Shire Council CEO Rob Croxford …
“The data collection process on septic tanks in Blackwood has now been completed. This information will be fed into the domestic waste water management plan for the whole of the shire and also be provided to Central Highlands Water at a high level to inform future planning for sewerage solutions in the town.”
A member of the action group has also received from council a recommendation for an EPA approved waste water system suitable for Blackwood called Fujiclean.
