We’re still looking for a group of Blackwood Times devotees to take on the task of producing the paper. “Many hands make light work” & with a committed number of people we can continue publishing into the future. We’ll train all volunteers in each aspect of producing the Times &, with enough volunteers, each person would only really need to commit a few hours every 2 months. Once we get a few takers we’ll call a meeting to discuss how to move forward.
Although we don’t plan to give up the Times in the immediate future, we’d like to hear from anyone who wants to get together to discuss succession possibilities. The role offers a great way to learn new skills, meet people & there is a load of job satisfaction to be had.
We are always on the look-out for great photos & stories. What great content can you generate to fill future issues?
If you are out & about in Blackwood & take a great photo or hear a great story that you think we’d like – email it to us (original image straight out of phone or camera is best) with a caption & story. Remember this is your community paper, we just put it together!
