EDITOR’S THOUGHTS…

Hello to all Blackwoodians and our extended neighbours!

What a year it has been! A mighty cold and wet one, but also a year to begin coming back together and enjoying being out and about. As we bring in the end of the year, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period. The last couple of months have brought us many events, from the scary streets of the Halloween trick-or-treating, to St Martin’s Chapel where concerts were enjoyed by all. We even saw a friendly protest to save our Wombie sign.

As we welcome in some (hopefully) warmer weather we will be able to gather more and more.
We would like to thank both Jinny and Brendan for all of their incredible work to make The Blackwood Times what it is today. This will be the last issue they have an ‘official’ hand in. From the team here at The Times we cannot thank you both enough for all that you have done for this community and we look forward to continuing in your footsteps.

I hope that you all enjoy this issue and look forward to seeing you in the New Year! Please do not hesitate to reach out through email at team(@)theblackwoodtimes.com.au.

Apology from the Editor

To all, in the August-September 20012 ( Vol 14 ) the publishing team inadvertently published a picture of Fletcher in Pet Senanigans with Seamus’s article.

The team would like to apologise for this oversight and we hope to continue to see the Adventures of Fletcher in future issues. When we do get it wrong, please contact us at team(@)theblackwoodtimes.com.au so we can continue to reflect our community well.
